In the name of Jesus, I loose the Holy Spirit into the life of [....] to draw

him to the saving grace and the love of Jesus and the Father. In the name

of Jesus, I pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers of the Word of

God across the path of [....], and I even ask the Lord of the harvest to make an appearance to [....]l that he may be drawn to the saving grace and love of our Father and Jesus.

As soon as you say the prayer aloud, there will be changes in your [.....]

life. Keep praying the prayer each day. Nothing can stay the same when prayer is prayed for someone.

Susan Muto, co-founder of Epiphany Academy of Formative Spirituality, wrote these words that describe so well the healing comfort that we find, just as Elijah did, when we chose to spend time alone in the presence of our heavenly Father, in the presence of his Son, Jesus Christ…

“Alone and in silence, I present the whole of my being to God. To say; “Here I am,” is to place at his disposal the unique creation he has made. It is to give him this body, with its weaknesses and strengths; this mind, with its confusion and clarity; this heart, with its hardness and pliability. To say, “Here I am,” is to offer him the talents he has entrusted to me, using them to their fullest potential. It is to follow him wherever he leads, to stand ready in all situations to be his servant. To ready myself for such a commitment I have to become accustomed to frequent occasions when I stand peacefully and quietly before the Lord – alone and at the same time at one with him. In this aloneness I try gently to quiet the many voices that besiege me in the pressures of daily life in order to listen to his voice in the depths of my being. Outer silence may be sought to foster inner stillness, but it is not necessary. The closer I grow to God, the more I am able to be with him in all circumstances. Whenever he calls I am able to say: “Here I am.”

I feel a great need to sing praises to our Lord…

You made Mary full of grace, grant all men the joyful abundance of your grace. Make your church of one mind and one heart in love, and help all those who belive, to be one in prayer with Mary, the mother if Jesus.

May God grant you always a sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you, laughter to cheer you, faithful friends near you, and whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.  PS. Our faith in God is easy when the waters ’round are stilled, when the voyage undertaken finds our dreams and hopes fulfilled.  But holding on to God is hard when wrestling with our doubt, and when the storms are fiercest, and our boat is tossed about.  It’s then that our faith is shaken, when the Master’s sound asleep, not knowing we are sinking, and the waters ’round are deep.  We wonder then how He, Who’s Lord of all the land and sea, could seem to be so unaware of our catastrophe.  It’s when our faith seems weakest, God will calm the sea and soul and when we are most broken that He’ll touch, and make us whole.

When I became a Catholic, the year 2000, a whole new world of spirituality opened for me. The door opened and I walked through to learn, find hope n’ peace in mystical places like  Fatima, Lourdes, Guadalupe, and Medjugorje, where the Virgin Mary appears.

The Holy Mother is being given a period of time to try and birth the world into holiness. As Our Lady bore Jesus in Her womb those nine months in which the Savior came to term, the world is placed in Her hands for a term to ready it for the return of its Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lady preceded Her Son, and She is now preceding His return, preparing the world for the glorious moment. When will that be? We cannot know. Yet, it can be said Our Lady is preparing us to meet Jesus eye to eye.

Her messages at Medjugorje, come on the 25th of each month…

“Dear children! A new I call you to follow me with joy. I desire to lead all of you to my Son, your Savior. You are not aware that without Him you do not have joy and peace, nor a future or eternal life. Therefore, little children, make good use of this time of joyful prayer and surrender. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Let this be my prayer…

“Stay at the center of my soul, O God:

be in my longing and my hurting;

be in my hoping and my emptiness;

be in my eyes and lips and heart,

so that my desire to be true to You

and to myself

may prevail over everything else.”

Jesus,

There are a lot of good, God-fearing people in the Gulf area – Jesus, please answer their prayers and stop the well. Humans can’t stop it but you can. Jesus, you said that if you have the faith of a mustard seed that you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it will be moved. Well Lord, the oil well is a mountain and it needs to be moved, it needs to be stopped, and it needs to cease. I don’t see a way Lord for this to stop except through You. You are the only one Jesus that can stop this well. Please perform a miracle and end that leak. Like I said, I don’t know you will do it, but I believe that you will and that you can. All things are possible with you – thank you for answering this prayer, thank you for stopping the leak, and thank you for helping all those people in the gulf region affected by this, and thank you Lord for saving the wildlife in this area too… they are your creatures, and I can just imagine how much it pains you to see them being covered in oil. Thank you Lord for everything that you do, thank you for your word, thank you for the promises we find in your word, and thank you for your love, mercy, grace, and faithfulness. In Jesus name I ask this prayer, Amen.

No one could possibly love you more than God the Holy Spirit.  You have given and received only natural love.  God’s love is supernatural.  His love for you is unlimited.  He created you.  Just as you are.  Just as He wanted you to be.  He wants you to know Him.  He wants you to be happy and enjoy this world and this life He gave you.  With His gifts, He gives you all you need to accomplish this.  He wants to give you unlimited WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING.   He wants to COUNSEL you and give you FORTITUDE.   He wants to make it easy for you to be close and intimate with Him through His gift to you of PIETY.  He wants to create in you a love for Him that will satisfy every want and desire you have.

When Jesus lived on the earth with His disciples, they were content to give up everything to follow Him, just to be near Him.  With Him, they were safe and if they needed any COUNSEL they knew He could give them the answers.  The disciples had never experienced or even heard of such a source of comfort and WISDOM on earth.  So when it was time for Him to leave they were very upset.  He assured them by telling them He would send the Paraclete, the Comforter to be with them and with all of His followers.

DAY NINE

COMMON SENSE     The only other spiritual gift You offer to us if we listen, o Holy Spirit, is the greatest of all Your gifts.  Your gift of WISDOM.  This gift of WISDOM is the highest compliment man can receive.

Your gift of WISDOM endows us with the ability to use all of Your other six spiritual gifts in their exact proper proportion.

The baker is wise, O Holy Spirit, when he does not use too much of any one ingredient in his cake.  The ability to use each of Your spiritual gifts of KNOWLEDGE—UNDERSTANDING—COUNSEL—FORTITUDE—PIETY and FEAR OF THE LORD  in exactly the right proportion is the gift of gifts.  The gift of WISDOM.

END OF BEGINNING     This is the ninth day, O Holy Spirit.  My intended Novena is completed.  I must recognize the fact You gave me the FORTITUDE to persevere.  The strength that made it easy.  You gave me the determination to succeed as You will in everything You prompt me to do.  If only I take time to listen for Your gift of FORTITUDE.

I shall take the time to reminisce on my early childhood and each year up to the present time, to the best of my ability, with Your help and KNOWLEDGE, O Holy Spirit.  I shall dwell on the past few months in particular.  You will let me UNDERSTAND how You have been in my life daily, even though I was not aware of it.  How You gave me the grace of Your seven gifts and how often I threw them away by neglecting to use them.  How on many occasions Your gifts were there and I did use them, but was under the impression, due to my pride, that I did it all by myself.

But, why does it have to end?  Why should it end?

If I have not experienced Your presence in my heart, I shall start over for another nine days if You will only give me the FORTITUDE.

If I have experienced Your presence in my heart, I will jealously preserve it.  Relive it.  Practice listening daily.  A perpetual Novena.

My hope is I will grow into the habit of experiencing Your presence every moment of my consciousness. END OF DAY NINE
