4 Elements Prayer
I have been led to explore the extraordinary life of Hildegard of Bingen; a German mystic, she wrote many divinely inspired writings from the visions she received from God. At an early age she was sent to the Benediction cloister of Saint Disibod, she became a prominent writer, preacher, healer, herbalist, poet, and composer who wrote nine books on theology, medicine, science and physiology. Saint Hildegard has been called the first medieval woman to reflect on and write about women.
This prayer came about as I was reading her writings on the four elements…
Father God, you created the four elements of the world… fire, air, water, and earth. The Holy Spirit keeps them so closely connected and bound together that none can be separated from the others. The building blocks of the cosmos… just as they hold the world together so do they form the structure of our bodies. From fire we have the warmth of our bodies; from air we have our breath; from water we have our blood and from earth we have the muscles n’ bones… our bodies. We give thanks to the fire for our sight, air for our hearing, water for movement and earth for our ability to walk.
I ask Dear Lord, that they fulfill their purpose correctly and orderly… that the plumb line of these elements bring balance and healing to my body. I ask in the Holy Name of Jesus… Amen!
3x – Glory be to…
JESUS…
Jesus, Thank you, for your grand love for us, that by way of the Cross we are redeemed. Thank you that we receive the Holy Spirit, Father, that we are never alone, that the powers of heaven are within us and for us. Father, Thank you, that we are forgiven, for your Mercy and for your Love. Grant us today your peace, that all we touch prospers, that all we meet along this path sees you and we plant seeds of your Love, that your Garden prospers, your Flock expands, that your Children come home. We are in your hands, under your control, Heaven is rooting us on, helping us reach victory, fighting on our behalf, removing burdens, restoring our health, our finances, providing jobs, growing business, protecting our children, restoring marriages, morals and the truths of our Father. Your control, that which is meant to prosper us, for our success, for your Good, returns to us, for we your children, turn to you, expectantly, waiting, as your hand washes away the burdens, the trials, the lies of this world. Jesus, in your name, we pray, and in your name we lift Praises, for we are Thankful and we are Grateful. Jesus, in your name, Amen
Lord hear our prayer…
God, My Father
“God, my Father in heaven, You are all mercy.
You love me and see my every sin. God, I call on You now as the merciful Father. Forgive my every sin. Wash away the stains on my soul so that I may once again rest in complete innocence. I trust You, Father in heaven. I rely on You. I thank you. Amen.”

The Candle Tells Us
“O God, had we beheld the beauty, the majesty of the countenance of that divine Child, could we have ever had courage to sacrifice His life for our salvation?” St. Alphonsus di Liguori
“Christ himself says, ‘I am the light of the world.’ And we are the light, we ourselves, if we receive it from him…. But how do we receive it, how do we make it shine? …[T]he candle tells us: by burning, and being consumed in the burning. A spark of fire, a ray of love, an inevitable immolation are celebrated over that pure, straight candle, as, pouring forth its gift of light, it exhausts itself in silent sacrifice” (Paul VI
When I pass the crucifix, I will ask myself, would I have the courage of the Blessed Virgin Mary? Would I offer the beautiful baby knowing…
“But he was wounded for our iniquities, he was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his bruises we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
Thank you Jesus…
Jesus I come to You in humble trust. Thank You for the healing released in our lives through Your Word. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for enabling that Word to arise. Thank You for being our peace in the storm. You are our breath when our bodies can’t breathe, because You are the Breath of Life. Jesus, even if we can only whisper Your name, it brings Your wonderful presence. In Your Name, Jesus, we take authority over every evil influence seeking to harm our physical bodies or diminish our resources, and command it to leave. Fill us, Jesus, and free us. Thank You for teaching us how to live healthy lives. Thank You for reminding us to choose life, because You are our life. Thank You for showing us how to choose life in our physical bodies when the pain tells us that we are sick. Thank You for teaching us to focus on You, not on the symptoms. Thank You for enabling us to lift our eyes to You, for Your perspective on these conditions. Thank You Holy Spirit for Your strength, made perfect in our weakness. Holy Spirit, thank You for releasing a healing anointing, Your energizing presence, into these physical bodies. Thank You for Your anointing that is greater than any power that tries to hold us down. Thank You for touching us now, sweet Jesus. Let Your Spirit flow in us, through us, into every cell in our body. Blessed be the name of the Lord. We love You, Jesus. Amen.

We lift Hatiti to you O Lord…
…I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I
was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
…’Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink…?
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Abba Father, I bring to you your children, Hatiti, and ask that you continue sending ‘The Good Samaritians” to be the hands and feet to help this country on their feet. Provide for them all that they need. Protect them, protect the children from all evil. Heal their minds and hearts that they see You, and surround them with angels to minister to them. In the Holy Name of Jesus… Jesus… Jesus…
The Prayer of the Children
In this new year can we not focus our prayers for the children, that they may be as children… safe, laughing, playing, loving, protected, healthy… children of God.
Thank you SethAdamSmith n’ YouTube…
This film is dedicated to the real victims of war, hatred and unforgiving hearts: Children.
This serves as but a part of my prayer for those who have suffered at places such as Columbine, Africa, Virginia Tech, Chechnya and other war-torn, hate filled places. Though we may not be able to cause the wars abroad to cease, we can cause the wars within our hearts and homes to end. Forgive and love others. Truly these small and simple steps can eventually cause great and powerful strides in the world.
A Prayer of Great Power…
In the month of December I was really under attack , both
spiritual, business n’ family wise. I was sharing some of these concerns with my friend, Sandy, and then with another friend, Mary Sue, later that same day. Sandy said, our priest gave her a prayer that she uses whenever she feels a change in her mood or under spiritual attach. When they both mentioned this prayer… I paid attention and now I say it every day and then through out… whenever I feel under attack or for whatever concern Jesus gives me to pray for.
It’s a simple little prayer to memorize for yourself…
“Jesus Christ, by your Holy Name and by your most precious blood, I bind each and every spirit that seeks to oppress me this day”
