The Gospel Candle

The Gospel Candle looks like the beam of the cross; it has four wicks to symbolize the 4 books of the Gospel… Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each candle has its own rough hewn look making it perfect to have burning when you’re studying and praying the scriptures. The scent used is a special blend of the gifts given to Jesus… Spikenard, Frankincense and Myrrh.

Because these are hand-poured candles there maybe color variations. Each 15” long x 4” deep x 4 ¼ “high, handcrafted candle has about 55 hours of burn time. We suggest as the wicks burn down, forming individual wells, to place tea candles to burn, giving the candle a longer life.

Candle Tips

The first time you light your candle, burn it for about an hour. Each burn there after clip the wick to about ¼ inch, this will prevent a smoking candle while burning. When you’re ready to put out the candle, use a long wire candle snuffer and tip the wick down into the melted wax. This will prevent the candle from smoking; don’t forget to tip the wick back up.
