A Prayer for Those We Love

In the name of Jesus, I loose the Holy Spirit into the life of [....] to draw
him to the saving grace and the love of Jesus and the Father. In the name
of Jesus, I pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers of the Word of
God across the path of [....], and I even ask the Lord of the harvest to make an appearance to [....]l that he may be drawn to the saving grace and love of our Father and Jesus.

As soon as you say the prayer aloud, there will be changes in your [.....]
life. Keep praying the prayer each day. Nothing can stay the same when prayer is prayed for someone.

How do I Dedicate…

When asked… how do we dedicate to Mary?

St John Berchmans replied in the following remarkable words:

‘Any devotion, however small, provided it is constants.’

These words came from this holy young man as he was dying and his friends had asked him to tell them what devotion they could perform which would be most agreeable to our Blessed Lady.

And in these words, St.  Alphonsus di Liguori explains that the Hail Mary is the most pleasing to Our Lady…

“This angelical salutation is most pleasing to the ever-blessed Virgin; for, whenever she hears it, it would seem as if the joy which she experienced when St. Gabriel announced to her that she was the chosen Mother of God, was renewed in her; and with this object in view, we should often salute her with the Hail Mary.”

St. Louis de Montfort said,

“We must choose among all the devotions to the Blessed Virgin the one which will lead us more surely to dying to self.”

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.

Prayer for Healing…

We are to live in the present moment just as Our Lord does…

St. Padre Pio words, “For the Lord, the past does not exist; the future does not exist. Everything is an eternal present. Those prayers had already been taken into account. And so I repeat that even now I can pray for the happy death of my great grandfather!”…reading and meditating on these words deepens my faith, my resolutions to persevere in my prayers for my ancestors and all those who have died. We should always pray for the deceased, even those who have died many decades ago… for God there is neither a past nor a future, but all is the eternal present.

We need to pray for our ancestors for their healing and for a happy death for them. We can pray the following short prayer over our ancestors, starting with a prayer to take authority over anything that is not of God:

“In the Name of Jesus, I take authority and I bind all powers and forces in the air, in the ground, in the water, in the underground, in nature and in fire. You are the Lord over the entire universe and I give you the Glory for Your creation. In Your name, Lord, I bind all demonic forces that have come against me and my family and I seal all of us in the protection of Your Precious Blood that was shed for us on the Cross.”

“Mary our Mother, we seek your protection and intercession with the Sacred Heart of Jesus for me and my family, and surround us with your mantle of love to discourage the enemy.”

“Saint Michael the Archangel and our Guardian Angels come defend me and my family in battle against all the evil ones that roam the earth. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in our hour of need. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snare of the devil. May God restrain him, we humbly pray. And to thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, cast satan down to hell and with him all the wicked spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.”

“In the Name of Jesus, I bind and command all the powers and forces of evil to depart right now away from us, our homes and our lands. And we thank You Lord Jesus for You are a faithful and compassionate God Amen.”

“Heavenly Father, I ask You now to go back though all in my bloodline, my husband’s/wife’s bloodline, and the bloodlines connected to all of my family and relatives and forgive the wrongs, heal the illnesses, bind the evil deeds. I ask You Lord to break the chains, associations and links any of these may have to us here in the present. On their behalf Lord, I seek Your forgiveness, your healing and a pouring out of your Divine Love so that Your Love may now pour forth through the years and touch us in the here and now. So that Your Divine and Healing Love will take the place of all the past hurts, angers, hates, unlove of You, destructive emotions or actions and evil ties of our ancestors. So that Your Precious Blood and Divine Love and Healing will heal us of the residue we carry from our ancestors. In true faith I thank You Lord because You have said ‘Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you’. Today Lord I knock, I seek, I ask. All praise and thanks to You my loving Father.”

Fr. Robert de Grandis has written a good book  on ’Intergenerational Healing’ where he speaks about a personal prayer for the family history and how we can pray for them.

Our Country…

PRAYER TO HEAL OUR LAND

Lord, who are we as a people, having been given blessings
in portions as no other nation before us? What has become of us, Father? We have spoiled your spacious skies with buildings and cities breathing with sin. The amber waves of grain are no longer viewed as our blessing but as our due. The awe and reverence due You when we gaze upon the purple mountains and their majesty is no longer held; rather, how much pleasure they can give us.
Father, we have spurned You. We’ve blamed our problems on those who promote darkness, but You gave us time with Your Mother. Now our eyes have been opened by Her. Our lack of holiness, our not being light has allowed darkness to prevail. Indeed, our sins which we wrongly view as small have allowed those in darkness to commit great sins without shame. We now realize it’s because of our failings as Christians. Father, Samuel told your people, “It is true you have committed all this evil, still you must not turn from the Lord, but worship Him with your whole heart. For the sake of His own great name, the Lord will not abandon his own people.” Father, we come before You with our whole hearts and ask You to grant Our Lady Her intentions. Mary, we do not deserve to even be heard, yet we know Your Son’s passion merits that we are. Mary, we call You as You have called us. Please, intercede before God to forgive us, to heal us, to heal our families, and to heal our nation. Father, grant Mary’s intentions and hear Her pleas for us. We
know you are justly irritated with us but we beg and plead for forgiveness through our repentance from our hearts. We realize our nation is headed toward disaster by so many signs You have given us. Holy, Holy, Holy God, grant Mary Her requests that we may again be your people, not a nation above God but one nation humbled and under God. Amen

Prayer Journaling

As I watched this video, I thought, what Fr Mike was showing us, in keeping a journal is really a strong tool to continue even after Lent is over.  There is something about writing that makes a strong connection from the mind to the heart and thus makes an  imprint in our prayer life… to be able to go back over the days and weeks, seeing God’s hand in our lives can only increase our faith.

I woke up the other morning saying this prayer and it has now become a prayer mantra for me…

“Glory be to God in the highest and peace to His children on earth.”

Blessings n’ Peace,

Elizabeth

4 Elements Prayer

I have been led to explore the extraordinary life of  Hildegard of Bingen; a German mystic, she wrote many divinely inspired writings from the visions she received  from God. At an early age she was sent to the Benediction cloister of Saint Disibod, she became a prominent writer, preacher, healer, herbalist, poet, and composer who wrote nine books on theology, medicine, science and physiology. Saint Hildegard has been called the first medieval woman to reflect on and write about women.

This prayer came about as I was reading her writings on the four elements…

Father God, you created the four elements of the world… fire, air, water, and earth. The Holy Spirit keeps them so closely connected and bound together that none can be separated from the others. The building blocks of the cosmos… just as they hold the world together so do they form the structure of our bodies. From fire we have the warmth of our bodies; from air we have our breath; from water we have our blood and from earth we have the muscles n’ bones… our bodies. We give thanks to the fire for our sight, air for our hearing, water for movement and earth for our ability to walk.

I ask Dear Lord, that they fulfill their purpose correctly and orderly… that the plumb line of these elements bring balance and healing to my body.  I ask in the Holy Name of Jesus… Amen!

JESUS…

Jesus, Thank you, for your grand love for us, that by way of the Cross we are redeemed. Thank you that we receive the Holy Spirit, Father, that we are never alone, that the powers of heaven are within us and for us. Father, Thank you, that we are forgiven, for your Mercy and for your Love. Grant us today your peace, that all we touch prospers, that all we meet along this path sees you and we plant seeds of your Love, that your Garden prospers, your Flock expands, that your Children come home. We are in your hands, under your control, Heaven is rooting us on, helping us reach victory, fighting on our behalf, removing burdens, restoring our health, our finances, providing jobs, growing business, protecting our children, restoring marriages, morals and the truths of our Father. Your control, that which is meant to prosper us, for our success, for your Good, returns to us, for we your children, turn to you, expectantly, waiting, as your hand washes away the burdens, the trials, the lies of this world. Jesus, in your name, we pray, and in your name we lift Praises, for we are Thankful and we are Grateful. Jesus, in your name, Amen

God, My Father

“God, my Father in heaven, You are all mercy. You love me and see my every sin. God, I call on You now as the merciful Father. Forgive my  every sin. Wash away the stains on my soul so that I may once again rest in complete innocence. I trust You, Father in heaven. I rely on You. I thank you. Amen.”

This prayer came from the messages from Anne, a Lay Apostle; a message came from “VOLUME THREE” Part One: God the Father Speaks to His Children
